Making a difference in my Community
A good friend of mine, Kevin Brayer approached me one day and asked if I wanted to hop on the Ronald McDonald House Marketing Committee. He said he was on it already, and gave the organization a two thumbs up!
I was familiar with the name Ronald McDonald House but I wanted to discover more. Buffalo is home for me and joining the RMHCWNY Marketing committee was an opportunity for me to make my home a better place. To help those in need.
I had no idea how much of an impact the Ronald McDonald House has on families, from not only the Buffalo community but other parts of the country as well!
Being a member of this dynamic group of people on this committee is not only fun, but it also teaches me about the charity’s mission. This group really has taken strides to build awareness of the services the house provides in a way that’s easy for everyone to help out. I’m very pleased to be part of a team that is always upbeat and positive, a team that comes together to help make a difference in a family’s life. It’s also a good way to score a free cup of coffee!
