In memoriam: Phillip Gallson
The Buffalo Ronald McDonald House was a favorite of Phill’s and he gave his time and talents to this charity for over 20 years and encouraged others to do the same. He served multiple terms on the RMHC of WNY Board of Directors, providing his leadership as President and Treasurer for the Charity.
Phill had a gift for seeing the big picture and his humility and soft-spoken nature were a reassuring comfort to all who knew him. He was a leader who freely gave his time and financial expertise to the community. Phill was well known and respected by all who had the privilege of working with him professionally or in volunteer capacities and he is remembered as always being so charitable and fair.
He was an avid reader, had a boundless enthusiasm for technology and so enjoyed his friends, planning vacations, and family fun including cruises. He was devoted to his wife, children and grandchildren. And as fitting, they are grateful for him and will miss him forever.
Phill was an inspiration who touched our lives. He was our true friend and will remain forever in our hearts.
