12th Annual Holiday Concert Raised $50,000 for the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House
Lindsey Stirling Kicked-off her Benefit Concert with a Tour of the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House
Buffalo, N.Y. (December 15, 2018) – The 12th Annual Holiday Concert to benefit the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House was held at the elegant Shea’s Performing Arts Center. This year, the audience was dazzled by the dynamic performance of violinist Lindsey Stirling’s “The Wanderland Tour”. Prior to her performance, Ms. Stirling visited the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House where she toured the House and delighted guest families and volunteers with an impromptu performance of her favorite Christmas carols.
“Lindsey Stirling is an artist who moves hearts and energizes her audiences. Her visit to our House was such fun for our families and volunteers. Lindsey’s enthusiasm is infectious. Her musical talent and gift in connecting to people through music was brought to life with the holiday songs she played for our guests. It was a delight to get to know her and watch as she got to know our House and the families she helped through her benefit concert later that evening,” said Sally Vincent, Executive Director, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York.
Locally presented by the Derico of East Amherst Corporation, the 12th Anniversary Holiday Concert raised $50,000 for the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House. “Our heartfelt thanks to Enrico Francani and The Derico of East Amherst Corporation, their employees and the sponsors for making this annual event such a success,” added Ms. Vincent, “We are continually humbled by the dedication, loyalty and generosity of all our partners who answer the call to give again and again.”
