“Share A Night” with a Family
at the Ronald McDonald House for Only $15.00 per Night!
...Because the last thing a family with a gravely ill or injured child should have to worry about is where to sleep.
The illness, premature birth or injury of a child is difficult under the best of circumstances, but when that illness requires hospitalization far from the familiar surroundings of home, it can turn a family’s life upside down. It did for Maggie Tuttle and her family when her daughter Sadie was born prematurely.
Concern for their child’s recovery… the cost of medical care…questions about paying for a prolonged stay … concerns about losing a job or having to quit one to become a caretaker…these and other worries loom over many of the families who walk through our door.
Today you can help a family eliminate one of their worries. Consider sponsoring a room for a night…a week…a month…or more. 100% of the funding for the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House comes from local donations. 100% of your donation stays right here at the Buffalo House. You can rest assured that each dollar of your donation helps families right here at the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House.
Thanks to your support, for over two weeks our House was able to provide a private bedroom, nutritious meals, transportation and a place for Maggie, her mother Linda and son Sebastian to call home.
Can you imagine how costly a two-week stay would be for a hotel room and food for a family? The financial toll of hospitalizations, follow-up treatments and rehabilitation can be overwhelming: even a financially strong family can be devastated by an extended hospital stay.
Thanks to your support, no eligible family is turned away, like the Maggie’s, who have been able to stay with us for the entire time. By sponsoring a room for a night…a week…a month…or more, you can keep the Ronald McDonald House’s doors open 365 days a year to provide a supportive “home away from home” for families as long as they need it ….for follow-up visits…for years to come.
Please give generously to make the Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo a place far from home that feels just like home.
With heartfelt gratitude,
