2024 5K Run Update:

Hello, 5K Run supporters and participants.   

After careful consideration and consultation with all stakeholders, we have decided to cancel our 5K Run this year. The reason behind canceling the event is to allow for the completion of our “Access for All” project. This transformative project will make our Ronald McDonald House fully accessible, ushering in a new era of inclusivity.  

This exciting and vital project will allow everyone, regardless of their mobility limitations, to enter our House through the front door and access all the spaces in the heart of the home – including the kitchen, dining room, living room, and second-floor accessible suites.  

Construction work will begin this Spring and be in full swing by July, rendering the Ronald McDonald House campus unsuitable for public gatherings such as a 5K Run.   

While we understand the disappointment this news may bring, we firmly believe that the long-term benefits of the “Access for All” project far outweigh the temporary setback of canceling the 5K Run. We are looking forward to this project’s positive impact on the lives of those who depend on Ronald McDonald House for support. 

Thank you for being so supportive of our 5K Run. We hope you’ll want to be a part of our Access for All project, which will allow us to support further the families we serve through our programs.   

We urge you to consider supporting the “Access for All” project through the following ways: 

💖 Donations: Kindly consider donating your 5K Run registration fee to our “Access for All” project. Your contribution will be instrumental in bringing our vision of inclusivity to life. Additional donations are welcomed with open arms if you feel compelled to contribute beyond your registration fee.
