Celebrate with us at The Ruby Jubilee!

On December 8, 2023, Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY celebrated its 40th Anniversary! We launched this milestone year with The Ruby Jubilee, a fundraising gala, on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the Powerhouse.
Since opening its doors in 1983, the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House has welcomed more than 21,400 families from New York, surrounding states, and outside the USA, providing them with safe, comfortable lodging while their child receives medical treatment in Buffalo. Families also benefit from our hospital programs – the Ronald McDonald Family Room and our Ronald McDonald Hospitality Carts.
We have an exciting year ahead as we celebrate four decades of supporting caregivers!
The Buffalo Ronald McDonald House will become fully accessible, allowing all children and their caregivers to stay at the House, no matter their mobility limitations. This includes adding a ramp to allow people to enter through the front door, installing a new three-stop elevator, and more!
In addition, a new meal prep kitchen will be constructed as we welcome our new Meal Makers presented by Northtown Automotive Companies (formally known as Cooks for Kids) program. We will also introduce the Comfort Club, which will provide cookies, soups, and box lunches for our house and hospital program guests.
The mission of RMHC of WNY is to create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. The programs and services offered keep families with sick/injured children together and near the care and resources they need.
