30 Sep Ronald McDonald House Charities of WNY Unveils the New Meeting Center
Buffalo, N.Y. (September 30, 2022) – Yesterday afternoon Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York (RMHC of WNY) unveiled the newly designed RMHC of WNY Meeting Center (The Meeting Center). The Meeting Center’s interior is designed with a warm and modern theme which includes photography collage walls showcasing previous guests. The Meeting Center represents the shared vision and support of the Tower Family Fund, National Fuel Gas, M&T Charitable Foundation, First Niagara Foundation, the Steinwachs Family Foundation and the Buffalo Rotary.
The Meeting Center located on the RMHC of WNY campus, houses staff offices and the Sally S. Vincent Meeting Room, which was dedicated during the event. Ms. Vincent led the Organization for 23 years, through the expansion of programs and the difficulties the pandemic presented. The dedication is in honor of her strength, commitment and contribution to RMHC of WNY.
Janice Larson, President and Chair, RMHC of WNY Board of Directors remarks, “Our donors, the Tower Family Fund, National Fuel Gas, M&T Charitable Foundation, First Niagara Foundation, Steinwachs Family Foundation and the Buffalo Rotary are true partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities – they share our vision of continually adapting to serve our diverse Western New York Community. The Meeting Center is the next step in augmenting our ability to do just that, and we are truly grateful for their support.”
Marianne Hoover, Executive Director, RMHC of WNY adds, “The Meeting Center has great benefits for RMHC of WNY. Having all the staff offices together in one location promotes camaraderie and vital idea exchange. The staff move to The Meeting Center will also give us the space in the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House to begin our vision of Access for All, a fundraising campaign and initiative to make the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House fully accessible to all guests.”
