Alex Gugliuzza Promoted to Guest Services Manager

Dear friends,

I am delighted to announce the promotion of Alex Gugliuzza to Guest Services Manager. Alex has been with RMHC of WNY since 2014, most recently in the position of House Manager Assistant. In her new role, Alex will be overseeing the guest experience.

Alex’s strong passion for our mission, and her natural ability, promotes an atmosphere of support, warmth, understanding and open communication with guest families, volunteers, and the medical community. She embodies RMHC of WNY’s core values, making her the perfect choice for this newly created position.

Alex will team with our House Manager to ensure the smooth operations of the Buffalo Ronald McDonald House and the comfort of families, staff, volunteers, and visitors. As the Guest Services Manager, her primary responsibilities include guest family communications and services, the development, implementation, and management of programs for families, and the development of referral agent relationships.

“My connection to the guests we serve is very important to me,” adds Alex. “I am so happy and excited to be able to work more closely with our guests to help make their stay with us a little bit brighter.”

Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts from SUNY Buffalo State College where she majored in Professional French Language and minored in Metals and Jewelry Design. She has volunteered with many local nonprofit organizations including the Elmwood Village Association, the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy and Harbor House.

Alex is a talented jewelry designer and maker. She also enjoys working in fiber arts. Outside of her studio time, Alex enjoys cooking, hiking, cycling, and languages. Alex is bi-lingual (English and French) and is currently learning a third language to add to her accomplishments.

Please join me in extending a heartfelt congratulations to Alex!
