It is with great pleasure and anticipation that I announce that Marianne Hoover has been named the new Executive Director of RMHC of WNY!

Following a long and extensive search, Marianne was selected based on her experience in the non-profit and medical sectors, her proven leadership, and her commitment and contributions to the Charity in her role as the Hospital Programs Manager where she launched the Ronald McDonald Family Room and Happy Wheels Cart programs. Her passion for the Mission and ability to instill that in others, and her leadership and vision for the future truly embody RMHC of WNY’s core values of respect, caring and compassion. We cannot think of a better individual to lead the Charity forward and we have every confidence that she will have a lasting and substantial impact.

Marianne will work closely with me, the staff and the Board of Directors as she begins her new role. Marianne will officially assume her role on October 1 and will lead the Charity in its mission to create and support programs that directly improve the health and well-being of children and their families. I will continue to work with Marianne until my official retirement in December 2021.

It has been my greatest honor to have been a part of this amazing Charity and to have had the privilege of working with and knowing you. After more than 23 years of serving RMHC of WNY, I look forward to retirement and time with my family. I wish to thank all of you for the great support you have given me over the years. Your personal friendship and commitment to RMHC of WNY and its mission have greatly contributed to the growth of RMHC of WNY. I am a fortunate person to have worked with so many wonderful friends and colleagues.

Thank you again for all the support you have given me. As I move to retirement, I will look back on this period with fond memories and great appreciation.
